SERVER

Job Summary

The Waikiki Yacht Club is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience. Your role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of service that our establishment is known for.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed during preparation and service.
  • Assist with bussing tables to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
  • Build rapport with members to enhance their dining experience through excellent guest relations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with inquiries.
  • Uphold cleanliness standards in the dining area and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or private club setting.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is highly desirable.
  • Strong guest relations skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
  • Ability to operate POS systems efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences by preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.

Duties
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring seasonal ingredients are utilized effectively.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper storage of food items.
  • Assist in catering events as needed, providing high-quality food service for special occasions.
Skills

The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dish washing equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning counters, floors, and equipment.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff.
  • Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes in dining areas.
  • Ensure that all items are properly stored and organized after washing.
  • Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Support banquet and catering events by ensuring timely availability of clean dishes and utensils.
Skills
